Disciplines https://disciplines.mx/index.php/disciplines <p>DISCIPLINES is a multidisciplinary scientific journal of open access, peer reviewed and with a biannual periodicity. It is edited and financed by the Unique Labor Union of Academic Staff of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (SUPAUAQ), and its purpose is to disseminate original articles and literary review in English, of the different disciplines carried out by national and foreign researchers from different universities and research centers, with preference for those contributions that have a interdisciplinary nature.</p> <p><span id="cell-35-email" class="gridCellContainer"><span class="label">ISSN: 2954-4610<br /></span></span></p> SUPAUAQ en-US Disciplines 2954-4610 From Henry Wallon motor activity, to Trevarthen’s proposal about music in teaching-learning processes to Max Van Manen’s The Tact of Teaching: a reflection for inclusion https://disciplines.mx/index.php/disciplines/article/view/18 <div class="page" title="Page 3"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>This essay is about the views on teaching-learning processes that we think are important as a proposal for inclusive thinking in formal education. It begins with the contributions of Henry Wallon on the importance of the motor act and tonic dialog in relation to emotional, affective attitudes, followed by the contributions of Colwyn Trevarthen, who asks us to understand the impact of music on children’s development, and its relevance to musical learning processes. Finally, the philosophy of touch in teaching is presented by Max Van Manen, who proposes a pedagogy that is responsive to children’s needs and that allows us to reflect on pedagogical practices and the importance of the act of education, i.e., the impact of teacher and student participation. process that we consider important as a proposal for an inclusive way of thinking in formal education. The essay presents views on the teaching and learning process that we consider important as a proposal for an inclusive way of thinking in formal education. We begin with Henry Wallon’s contributions to movement, dialog, and emotional attitudes. Then we continue with the contributions of Colwyn Trevarthen, who asks us to understand the impact of music on children’s development and its importance to the process of musical learning. Finally, we look at the philosophy of The Tact of Teaching by Max Van Manen, who proposes an empathetic pedagogy for children, with the aim of re ecting on teacher and student participation.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> Arturo Jesús Herbert-Mainero Yivia Oliveri-Rivera Pablo Pérez-Castillo María Cristina Ortega-Martínez Copyright (c) 2023 Disciplines 2023-10-22 2023-10-22 2 2 1 19 10.59235/disciplines2218 A Newtonian approximation to estimate the current temperature of the universe https://disciplines.mx/index.php/disciplines/article/view/12 <div class="page" title="Page 3"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>Based on supernovae data, we built a potential for the observable universe. Using classical mechanics, we built a classical Lagrangian and a Hamiltonian to describe the evolution of the universe as a three-dimensional sphere. We then considered the universe as a classical statistical ensemble and determined the partition function of the universe and thus estimated its current temperature. This analysis is classical, quantum approximation was never used.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> Aldrin Cervantes Contreras Copyright (c) 2023 Disciplines 2023-10-22 2023-10-22 2 2 1 9 10.59235/disciplines2212 Removal of butyl acetate in an industrial ef uent through a physicochemical treatment https://disciplines.mx/index.php/disciplines/article/view/20 <div class="page" title="Page 3"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>Butyl acetate is an organic compound widely used in industry, focu- sing on industrial paint waste ef uents. Exposure to this pollutant at an average of 925 ppm can cause dizziness, drowsiness, respiratory tract irritation, and central nervous system suppression. That is why it seeks to minimize the risk associated with this contaminant through treatment alternatives. The characterization of the sample yielded the detection of the following contaminants: methyl ester, 1-butanol, 1-4 dioxane, butyl ester, 1-chlorobutane. The objective of this work was the design and development of combined treatments for the removal of butyl acetate in industrial waste ef uents. For this, a physicoche- mical treatment coupled to an advanced oxidation process (PAO) was implemented. The results showed that the coupled treatments are ef - cient for the removal of butyl acetate, methyl ester, 1-chlorobutane and 1-butanol, while for 1-4 dioxane it was reduced by approximate- ly 83%. The study was complemented with the evaluation of the fo- llowing parameters, resulting in a decrease in electrical conductivity of 99.5%, total suspended solids of 74%, color of 93%, turbidity of 55% and COD of 73%.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> José Alberto Rodriguez Morales Roxana Carrillo Miguel Angel Ramos Juan Campos Janet Ledesma Gerardo Arriaga Copyright (c) 2023 Disciplines 2023-10-22 2023-10-22 2 2 1 11 10.59235/disciplines2220 Experience of flexibility and educational interaction in a technological high school in the context of emergency remote teaching. Learned lessons https://disciplines.mx/index.php/disciplines/article/view/16 <p style="font-weight: 400;">The objective of this document is to visualize the experience of educational flexibility lived during a period of emergency remote teaching through the graphic representation of the relationships between the actors and the teaching-learning processes, the determination of criteria and academic-administrative categories of the structure in the institution of El Grullo Technological High School that allows the implementation of a procedure of a multimodal system itself which facilitates the adaptation of learning processes mediated by technology with educational quality by identifying the interactions in pedagogical mediations that favor learning and give way to the choice of appropriate technological mediations that develop educational innovation as a significant change in their interaction internally and with the environment, understanding education as a relational process. These relationships are presented as a result of the collection of information and data obtained through interviews, sample survey and analysis of documents of the institution, interaction that is shown in the schematization, and visual representation of the educational processes of the case study in the community education of the El Grullo High School as learned lessons.</p> Priscila Espinosa Figueroa Ricardo Chaparro Sánchez Copyright (c) 2023 Disciplines 2023-10-22 2023-10-22 2 2 1 18 10.59235/disciplines2216
